Being an artist can sometimes be a little selfish at times- often we are always caught up in the process, or looking for ways to improve, taking time to make art and it is easy to get caught up in our own creative little bubble- at least this is how things go for me! That is why I am challenging you to be giving with your creativity. I have noticed over time, some of my best work has been created when it is for someone else because the love and care that I put into it is like nothing I can re-create in other projects.
And and easy and fun way to incorporate giving is to make creative little notes for loved ones. You can leave them around the house, in a lunchbox or seal them up in an envelope and drop in the mail. It is an easy way to use your creativity to let someone know you are thinking of them.

PUT IT INTO ACTION!
Pick one person in your life and make a creative note for them- tell them you love them, give words of encouragement or just let them know that you are thinking of them.
Have more time? Find unique ways to share and give with your creativity- here are a few ideas to get you started-
Leave your creative little notes in unexpected public places- at the coffee shop, the post office, bookstore, library, restaurant (with your tip), etc.
Make postcards or greeting cards to send to loved ones.
Create a work of art to give away.
Organize a craft or art night with friends and share some of your favorite techniques or projects.
